Bart's and the London NHS Trust is one of the UK’s leading teaching hospital trusts. The Trust handles over 750,000 patient attendances per year at their three hospitals and employs over 8,500 staff.

Prior to Plan-Net's engagement, the scenario was one of inconsistent processes across the ICT department and insufficient communication between the ICT department and its users. An existing ITIL implementation was ineffective and needed to be harnessed properly.

During a Service Management engagement, Plan-Net leveraged generic processes and its cost and time effective ITIL deployment methodology, thus ensuring rapid implementation of selected ITIL processes across three critical application areas, delivering key benefits to the Trust in a short timeframe.
