Plan-Net present workshop at itSMF

15 August 2008

Plan-Net will be delivering a practical workshop on ‘Creating your Service Catalogue' at this year's IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) Conference and Exhibition. The workshop takes place at 10.10am, Tuesday 11 November at the Interactive Terrace, Birmingham Hilton Metropole.

Plan-Net's workshop will initially define the Service Catalogue Management process in ITIL V3 terms and explore how to design and create a Service Catalogue that adds value in the ‘real world'. Plan-Net's Consultants will facilitate and shape the workshop by interacting with the delegates and sharing experiences, good and bad. The workshop will discuss the design and creation of a Service Catalogue as well as provide practical examples.

The Service Catalogue provides all areas of the business with an accurate and consistent picture of the IT services available. It contains a customer facing view of the IT services in use, how they are intended to be used, the business processes they enable, and the levels and quality of service the customer can expect for each service.

In the workshop, Plan-Net will illustrate that ‘one size does not fit all' because each organisation is unique and has different service components and requirements.

itSMF Conference and Exhibition runs the 10-12 November at Birmingham Hilton Metropole. For more information on itSMF visit: http://www.itsmf.co.uk/
