Top 20 UK law firm, DAC Beachcroft, chooses Plan-Net 24 to provide out of hours IT support

International law firm DAC Beachcroft has engaged the UK’s only legal-dedicated 24/7 Service Desk to provide its 2,200 staff with full out-of-hours IT support coverage.

The service will operate week nights, weekends and Bank holidays and is due to go live in December. 

DAC Beachcroft has offices across the UK, Europe, Asia-Pacific and Latin America. The firm was looking for a solution that would offer high levels of IT support availability and capability outside of normal working hours to enable its UK lawyers working at all times of the day and international staff in different time zones to remain as productive as possible.

Following a comprehensive procurement exercise, DAC Beachcroft chose Plan-Net 24, based in Central London and run by IT Service Provider Plan-Net plc, as the service would closely align to its in-house daytime operation and be underpinned by a clear, high-end and formal SLA agreement.

The move to provide comprehensive 24/7 IT support coverage to its staff is part of a number of other IT initiatives being implemented by DAC Beachcroft as it positions itself as a corporate law firm with true global capability.
